TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's Toshiba Corp surrendered in the high-definition home movie war on Tuesday, giving up on its HD DVD format after losing the support of key studios and retailers to the Blu-ray technology backed by Sony Corp.

SAN FRANCISCO — In a preview of what could shape up to be a fierce antitrust fight over Microsoft’s $45 billion offer for Yahoo, Google’s chief legal officer on Sunday made clear that the search giant would not sit on the sidelines, questioning whether Microsoft would “now attempt to exert the same sort of inappropriate and illegal influence over the Internet that it did with the PC.”

Wizz Air: new transfer service from London Luton Airport to Victoria Station PDF Print E-mail

Wizz Air, the largest low cost airline based in Central and Eastern Europe introduced a new service enhancement. Now all passengers arriving to London Luton Airport are able to buy their coach transfer to Victoria Station.

The new service is integrated in the booking transaction and can be purchased by selecting this option during the booking process itself and paying online in one single transaction together with the flight. The timetable of the transfer service is adjusted to Wizz Air’s flight schedule and available for purchase two days in advance for all flights arriving to London Luton. The price of a one-way ticket is €11.5 (£8, $16.9). Presently the integrated coach transfer is only available for arriving passengers but the airline will shortly extend the service for departing passengers as well. Currently Wizz Air operates 75 flights a week to London Luton Airport from 9 destinations such as Katowice, Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan, Budapest, Bucharest, Cluj, Sofia and Zagreb.
